Jobs we are currently hiring for on land and at sea are listed in the "Hot" sections below. Lower down on this page we provide job descriptions for all of our onboard positions because we are always looking to attract top talent to our fleet.

We are now fully staffed for the 2015-16 winter season except for the "Hot Positions" listed below. HOWEVER, we are always looking for qualified people to fill unexpected holes.

Assistant Port Captain, Seattle (Updated 9/10/15)

The Assistant Port Captain serves as one of two Assistant Port Captains, helping ensure that vessels are crewed, operated, and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and guest expectations. Click here for more information

Marine Safety Specialist, Seattle

The Marine Safety Specialist assists with ensuring that the vessels are maintained and operated in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards. Click here for more information

Port Engineer, Seattle

The Port Engineer is responsible for overseeing and expediting maintenance/repair work of all vessel electrical and mechanical systems onboard assigned company ships. Click here for more information

Sales Counselor, Seattle

The major function of this position is responding to phone and e-mail sales inquiries, probing and using appropriate information-building and closing techniques relevant to Un-Cruise Adventures experiential small-ship cruising. Click here for more information


Assistant Engineer

The Assistant Engineer is responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in the maintenance, operation, and repair of all vessel electrical and mechanical systems onboard ships. Click here for a full description

*We are also seeking Assistant Engineers to help with a year-long ship refit project in our Seattle shipyard; some sailing time may be an option as well.


The Chef will coordinate and participate in all galley activities in regard to food preparation, inventory, ordering, and cleaning under the direction of the Hotel Manager and is responsible for overseeing all staff and functions within the galley. Click here for a full description

Wellness Instructor

The Wellness Instructor is a customer service representative who is responsible for providing massage, yoga, and stretching to clients on vessels carrying between 36-88 guests. Click here for a full description
