TET was formed in 1997 to educate and protect travelers and to help businesses that serve the traveling public. TET gathers information about those businesses that volunteer to become "TET Seal Holders" by complying with its rules and standards of conduct. As a non-profit, they create a community of stewards for Alaska's cherished public lands, believing that the more people come to know, experience, and learn about Alaska's amazing parks, forests, and refuges, the more they'll care about their future. Their long-standing partnership with Alaska's land management agencies make it possible to directly connect with the many visitors, residents, and users of Alaska's public lands.


Un-Cruise Adventures provides guests cruising in Alaska on an upscale yacht or the S.S. Legacy in 2014 an introductory membership to Alaska Geographic. Members receive many benefits, including discounts on Alaska books, maps, films, and more at over 40 locations around Alaska, as well as online at www.alaskageographic.org. Proceeds support education and interpretive projects within Alaska's parks, forests, and refuges.
