We’re adding a new element to the Un-Cruise Blog—a sort of employee highlights—so that y’all can get an idea of who’s behind the scenes here at Un-Cruise Adventures. About once a month we’ll interview an office employee. For the first in our “Introducing” series, we’ve interviewed Sales Counselor Naomi Sture.

We hire good people here at Un-Cruise Adventures. Our crew members work hard. They are also a fun-loving bunch. So what happens when you put a bunch of hard-working, adventure-seeking folks on a boat together in Alaska for months on end? These pictures tell a story yet untold.
We found this series of photos showing the crew on the Wilderness Explorer blowing off a little steam in Alaska last summer. Maybe these photos were supposed to be "lost at sea" but as good luck would have it, the CEO found one and thought they might be good blog fodder. After a little digging, a few more surfaced. Yes, indeed. Now, right there you know this is a good company. Share the funny stuff.

The Safari Endeavour travels north from La Paz, Mexico to a cluster of guano-covered volcanic rocks jutting out of the sea like a medieval fortress. As the ship approaches in the early morning, the guests awaken to the barking of California sea lions. Overhead through a sapphire sky fly a swarm of blue footed boobies, magnificent frigate birds, and brown pelicans. This is Los Islotes, one of the many treasures of the Sea of Cortés.
