Our crew members work hard. They are also a fun-loving bunch. So what happens when you put a bunch of hard-working, adventure-seeking folks on a boat together in Alaska for months on end? These pictures tell a story yet untold. We found this series of photos showing the crew on the Wilderness Explorer blowing off a little steam in Alaska last summer. Maybe these photos were supposed to be "lost at sea" but as good luck would have it, the CEO found one and thought they might be good blog fodder. After a little digging, a few more surfaced. Yes, indeed. Now, right there you know this is a good company. Overhead through a sapphire sky fly a swarm of blue footed boobies, magnificent frigate birds, and brown pelicans. After a weeklong adventure exploring the Salish Sea in the Pacific Northwest, the newly rennovated Safari Quest has returned home in Seattle, WA.
It has been a glorious few days here in Seattle. Perfect for kayak training! We met up with the expedition guides of the Wilderness Adventurer this afternoon as they were setting off for an afternoon of kayak training.
