About Un-Cruise Adventures
Small ships, BIG experiences!
Born out of a desire to offer small group, hands-on explorations in some of the most inspiring places in the Americas, and celebrating 20 years of small ship cruise adventures in 2016, Un-Cruise Adventures operates from offices at historic Fishermen’s Terminal in Seattle, Washington and Juneau, Alaska. Taking our guests into areas inaccessible to large ships, and on excursions that are exclusive, unconventional, and unmatched—we offer an alternative to traditional cruises.
Our mission: To provide our guests an enriching adventure travel experience and inspire an appreciation of local cultures and the natural world.
We understand that ecosystems are fragile, yet important, environments. And we know first-hand the impact our adventures have on sustaining local communities. One of the key components of our company’s mission statement is to actively promote environmental protection through education, actions, and initiatives that promote responsible travel.
In 1996, American Safari Cruises pioneered yacht cruising in Alaska and over time, added new destinations, adventures, vessels, and ultimately, changed our name to Un-Cruise Adventures. Today, we sail into the next decade of adventure; and can’t wait to share this unbelievable world with you.
Our People Make the Difference
At the heart of Un-Cruise Adventures are the many souls who make up our family—from the committed staff in our offices and eager crew who keep our vessels shipshape, to travel partners and affiliates who share goals of sustainability, and our enthusiastic, wide-eyed guests who make each voyage unique. We’re not bashful about it, our people—employees and guests alike—are the most dedicated, energetic, and inspiring group.
